NY Times’ article on snowmaking at Snow Bowl; A fight that’s been going on for over ten years now. When this bomb drops, “‘Everyone does well when the ski area does well,” said J. R. Murray, general manager of Snowbowl,” just know that it’s total bullshit. This is the largest city closest to the Grand Canyon. There’s a thriving university. It’s beautiful. Any skier or snowboarder that can afford to is going to go to Colorado to do so. Do you really want to base your economy on assholes from Scottsdale, Flagstaff? If using treated sewage water is actually safe for the ecosystem, is the best use of it really for white people to slide down a mountain on plexiglass? In a desert? I’ve been asking these questions for ten years now. I have yet to hear any answers that make sense or resemble anything close to reality.
I was looking for my stupid high school diploma for a job interview and found these instead. Enjoy. The Boardwalk was Mia’s before it was Mia’s. I kind of liked it, especially the stage and the anchor carpet, but no one else did. Sleeping People had Amber Coffman in it. I think Matt and Kim played Flagstaff two more times.

this flier was way too big. grass widow + trainwreck riders + feel free. i was super bummed when everyone left after Grass Widow played. Hipsters, man. Trainwreck Riders ruled, but I think they were bummed. Also, the monte v is horrible.
